Heartbroken dog waits in the rain every day for owner

The dog’s unwavering presence indicated an ardent anticipation for someone’s arrival. Despite Jim’s attempts to coax the dog towards him, she remained motionless. Remarkably, she had been faithfully stationed outside the same shop for four consecutive days. While the video shows the dog accepting food, it is evident that she will persistently wait in that very spot until her owner is reunited with her.

Though the sight was undeniably heart-wrenching, this tale does have a joyous conclusion.

As per the Malaysian news outlet SAYS, the widespread circulation of the video played a crucial role in reuniting the dog with her owner. The report states that the dog, named Bairava, had been separated from her owner, Vaani, for a distressing period of eight months. It was through the online video that Vaani first caught sight of Bairava’s faithful vigil.

Filled with hope, Vaani rushed to the location where Bairava had been patiently waiting, leading to an incredibly heartening reunion. “I went there and called her name… we were all overcome with tears of joy as we embraced our beloved dog,” Vaani shared with SAYS.

Vaani, a compassionate 40-year-old mother, recounts how she had rescued the dog, Bairava, as a stray companion five years ago. Unfortunately, their bond was temporarily broken when Vaani fell ill and had to undergo a period of recovery, during which Bairava mysteriously vanished.

Despite tireless efforts to locate her cherished companion, Vaani’s search yielded no results. However, a glimmer of hope emerged when she stumbled upon the viral video showcasing Bairava’s unwavering devotion and patient wait. This heartfelt display of loyalty served as a beacon of reassurance that her beloved dog was still out there, yearning to be reunited.
